Terms and Conditions for goods and services between:

Pretty Little Package Limited (PLP); and

The Client (Client)

Ordering & payment

  1. When ordering a garland or other balloon display from PLP the Client shall provide a clear description of their requirements, with a picture or photograph to illustrate if possible. PLP will use best endeavours to confirm the Client’s specifications so no misunderstanding occurs.

  2. PLP shall provide a quotation covering the costs of creating, delivering, and installing the garland or other balloon display. Depending on the Client’s requirements, PLP may provide a quotation exclusive of delivery and installation fees.

  3. PLP only offers delivery for garlands or other balloon displays that are 2 linear metres or greater.

  4. If delivery and installation is required, the Client must advise PLP of the address when placing an order. A delivery fee will be calculated, based on $1.00 per kilometre travelled to and from the delivery address from PLP’s base of operations in Murray’s Bay, North Shore, Auckland.

  5. A standard installation fee of $30 applies to all garlands or other balloon displays up to a maximum of 5 linear metres. Additional installation fees may apply to orders greater in size or complexity or orders requiring more than 30 minutes for installation.

  6. An order is placed when the Client confirms in writing or by telephone that they wish to proceed with a specified garland or other balloon display.

  7. To secure an order the Client must pay PLP a deposit representing 50% of the total quoted price at the time an order is made.

  8. The Client must pay PLP the remaining 50% of the total quoted price at least 3 working days before the order is due.

    Changes, cancellation, and refunds

  9. Unless agreed to at PLP’s sole discretion, the Client shall not be able to change any aspect of the order once it is placed.

  10. Because PLP purchases supplies once the Client places an order, any cancellation by the Client will result in the Client forfeiting its 50% deposit.

  11. PLP does not offer refunds if the Client changes their mind or is unsatisfied with the design of the garland or other balloon display.

  12. PLP reserves the right to cancel any order with a full refund to the Client if it is no longer able to meet the needs of the Client for any reason.

    Use of garland or other balloon display

  13. PLP shall use reasonable skill and care when installing the garland or other balloon display. Provided it uses reasonable skill and care, PLP shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the Client’s property during installation. If installation occurs in a third party’s venue, the Client agrees to indemnify PLP against any claim by the third party in respect of any loss, injury or liability arising from the installation of the garland or other balloon display.

  14. Once PLP has installed the Client’s order, PLP shall not be liable for any damage occurring to the order whether caused by the Client, third parties, or natural causes. The Client acknowledges that regardless of the care taken by PLP, a small percentage of balloons are liable to burst due to weaknesses in their manufacture.

  15. The Client shall not have any claim against PLP for loss or damage suffered because of the Client’s use of the garland or other balloon display and further the Client will indemnify PLP against any claim by a third person in respect of any loss, injury or liability arising from the use of the garland or other balloon display.

  16. PLP makes no warranty or representations as to the state, quality or fitness of the garland or other balloon display for any purpose and no such warranty shall be implied by the description of the garland or other balloon display. All implied warranties and conditions as to the state, quality, or fitness of the garland or other balloon display for any purpose are hereby excluded.

  17. The Client shall not post any negative comments, negative feedback or negative photographs of PLP’s garland or other balloon display to any social media platforms.

  18. The Client is responsible for disposing of their order in an environmentally friendly way.

  19. The Client shall not resell their garland or other balloon display but may gift it free of charge.
